Ms. Huang has been practicing law since 1996 when she was admitted as a P. R. C. lawyer. She is the "Leading Talent of Lawyers for Foreign Affairs (in the fields of Intellectual Property and Information Security, International Investment)" by the Ministry of Justice P. R. C. and by the Guangdong Lawyers’ Association, nominee of “Top 10 Guangzhou Lawyers for Foreign Affairs” (top 20), Overseas IP Protection Expert by China (Shenzhen) IP Protection Center, an arbitrator sitting in numerous arbitration centers, and an IP lecturer as one of the 29 members of the Lecturer Team for Foreign Legal Services founded by Guangdong Lawyers Association.
In 2005, through a nationwide open competition, Ms. Huang was successfully selected as a participant of the Lord Chancellor’s Training Scheme organized by the Ministry of Justice, the National Bar Association and the British Department of Constitutional Affairs. In that scheme, she was awarded a full scholarship by the British government to be trained in the UK for one year, during which she studied English laws at the University of London and did placement at the solicitor law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and the chamber mentored by James Dingmence Q. C.
After returning to China in 2006, Ms. Huang had been engaged in legal services of foreign IP affairs, through Chang Tsi and Rouse serving dozens of Fortune 500 companies including Apple, ITW, 3M, Kohler, HP, Sony, UL, Cummins, Honeywell, Pfizer, Novartis, Formula 1, Best Buy, Armani, UGG, Tiffany, Tupperware, Four Season Hotels, Marriott and etc, on overall IP protection strategies, IP civil and criminal litigation, anti-counterfeiting, other IP enforcement and prosecution matters, and information security matters. The trademark counterfeiting criminal case HP vs Lv Weiwei, and patent infringement civil case SONY vs Ganglitong handled by Ms. Huang, were selected as the 2014-2015 Best Practice of IP Protection by QBPC (Quality & Brand Protection Committee under the Ministry of Commerce of P. R. C.), and 2014-2018 Typical Cases for Foreign Related Legal Services by Guangdong Lawyers’ Association. She was also recommended by Ms. Helen Shin, the General Counsel and Vice President of Jones Apparel Inc., as well as by a few other general legal counsels of Fortune 500 companies, to the U. S. ACC (Association of Corporate Counsel).
